Oil Lamp {Black and Blue}

Love all the Alewine pottery. Started going there years ago on our trips to Gatlinburg. We were determined to find some of the less touristy things to do in the area. The pottery is always beautiful. Met and always talked to Mr Alewine and his lovely wife ( always there with a smile working hard to make people happy) on most of our visits there. Amazing story behind their family business and the donations they make. Happy to support these wonderful people and their small business!!!!

I bought my first lamp over 20 years ago. I have been gifting these lamps for years. I usually include a note with my gift of the scripture Matthew 5:14-16 (NRSV). You are the light of the world. A city built on a hill cannot be hid. No one after lighting a lamp puts it under the bushel basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.
